Motion Designer - (Freelance)
Humankind is partnering with a global leader in crypto and web3 to find a freelance Motion Designer to join their design systems team. This is an opportunity to create scalable motion systems that bring clarity, emotion, and craft to one of the most recognized fintech brands.
You’ll work closely with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams to design and document motion systems that simplify complex interactions, elevate usability, and embody the brand’s values.
What you’ll do.
Design a user-centric Motion Design System that scales across product, brand, and marketing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adoption and high-quality implementation.
Produce polished, detailed specs, documentation, and handoff-ready assets.
Push the craft of motion design forward by bringing inspired, practical ideas to the table.
What we’re looking for.
5+ years of motion design experience (product and/or marketing).
Strong foundation in animation principles and accessibility best practices.
Experience building durable, scalable motion systems at a large org.
Mastery of After Effects, Lottie, and handoff specs; proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
Self-directed, collaborative, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
Bonus points.
Cinema 4D (Redshift/Octane).
Familiarity with prototyping tools like Principle or Framer.
A general affinity towards crypto and blockchain technology.
