Product Designer - AI Healthcare
Humankind is partnering with an AI-driven healthcare startup on a mission to make clinicians’ lives easier and happier. Their first product — an AI scribe — already supports thousands of clinicians daily by automating medical documentation, with millions of patient notes generated each month. Backed by top-tier investors (including Sequoia), they’re expanding rapidly into new products that transform how clinicians work.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design across core product areas. This is an opportunity to own the end-to-end user experience, shape product strategy, and design intuitive tools that solve real problems for overworked clinicians. You’ll move between scrappy MVPs and polished systems, balancing speed with craft, and setting the bar for design culture.
What you’ll do.
Lead design for key product areas from problem framing to polished execution.
Partner with product, engineering, and design peers to shape strategy and roadmap.
Bring clinician needs into every decision through research and usability testing.
Create thoughtful, scalable UI that simplifies complex workflows.
Evolve the design system and contribute to team culture.
What we’re looking for.
5+ years of experience designing and shipping end-to-end digital products.
Strong portfolio that shows clarity in solving complex problems.
Ability to move fast in ambiguity while sweating the details when it matters.
Strategic thinker who can contribute beyond design into product and business direction.
Curiosity and excitement about building AI-first products.
Bonus points.
Background or passion for healthcare.
Experience with AI-driven features or LLMs.
